about

narrative projects is an independent contemporary art platform founded in 2013 by curator and art professional Daria Kirsanova. With a focus on conceptually driven and cross-disciplinary practices, it originally operated as a London project space, developing exhibitions and international collaborations before establishing a permanent Fitzrovia gallery in 2015. Between 2015 and 2020, the gallery represented a roster of established and emerging artists, presenting exhibitions and supporting their international development. Building on over fifteen years of experience across the international contemporary art world, narrative projects now develops curatorial projects, exhibitions and strategic collaborations, with a particular focus on Africa and the Middle East. Informed by recent work in Saudi Arabia, across Africa and engagement with leading international art fairs, galleries and cultural institutions, its practice brings together artist development, exhibition production and institutional partnerships, fostering meaningful exchanges across artistic and cultural contexts.
