Carlos Noronha Feio in Variations Portugaises at Abbaye Saint André – Centre d’art contemporain de Meymac

This survey exhibition is looking into the development of the Portuguese art scene form 1970s to date. Focusing on its growth within larger European context. It embraces few generations of artists working in the country, without accentuating any particular medium the show gives space to wide range of practices. The post-minimalist and conceptual, refined approach, however, dominates the display with its juxtaposition or confrontation of forms and materials. Exhibition is on view until 18 June.
