Mahmoud Bakhshi, bon-gah #1

This is the first event of its kind organised by bon-gah in Tehran. A group of artists from Iran and elsewhere was gathered together by Mahmoud Bakhshi and Arash Hanaei to challenge the habitual perception of the boundary that lies between an artist studio and an exhibition space. They transformed the gallery space into a fluid, live environment similar to that of a workshop, where ideas collide and develop. What may come across as chaos at first glance, later presents an extraordinary order – an exhibition without an exhibitor.
